A frequency is the characteristic of an electromagnetic wave and/or an RF signal used in VSAT communications. It is the number of cycles the voltage and/or the fields complete in one full reversal cycle per second. Operational Bands, like C-Band, Ku-Band, and Ka-Band, are determined by the frequency.
